Simply roll across dry underarms 2-3 times - a little goes a long way! For hotter days, workouts or extra-long days, a quick second swipe has got you covered.

Once applied, let your underarms dry before getting dressed - this will help ensure that your clothes stay free from any marks or residue. If you're wearing tight-fitting clothing (like singlets, sports bras, etc), then get dressed first and apply after. This way, your clothing isn't having to pass over the product during dressing.

Do natural deodorants work?

Ah, the eternal question! The answer is, well it depends. In comparison to antiperspirants, which just like the name implies are anti-perspiration, then no, ours doesn’t work. That's because antiperspirants block sweat with Aluminium. We won't use Aluminium because we believe it belongs on the roof, not under our arms. So instead, our deodorant doesn't stop you from sweating, and we wouldn't want it to either! Sweating is a healthy, natural human process.

So how does it work? A deodorant’s job is to neutralise odour, and ours does this by creating a slightly alkaline environment that keeps odour-causing bacteria from throwing a party under your arms. No bacteria = no smell.

Does a natural deodorant leave white marks?

We get it, no one wants streaky underarms or stained clothing! Our natural deodorants are designed to be gentle on skin and clothing. Because they’re free from Aluminium salts, they don’t leave the chalky white residue that many antiperspirants do. Occasionally, a tiny bit of product may show if you apply too much or your skin is very dry.

Do your deodorants smell like Tea Tree?

Some natural deodorants rely on essential oils for scent and antibacterial properties. We prefer a lighter touch, one that won't make you smell like a Tea Tree Forest. Tea Tree and essential oils can also irritate delicate armpit skin, so we steer clear from that. With our formula, you can sweat freely while staying fresh.

What’s the deal with switching to natural deodorants?

Switching from antiperspirants to natural deodorant can take a little patience. Some customers notice a few days of extra odour while their sweat glands “wake up” and detoxify from years of being clogged. Don’t panic, it’s actually a good thing!

We call it the transition period, usually around two weeks. To make it easier, try using our Gentle Exfoliating Micro Powder as an armpit mask a couple of times a week. Just mix with water to form a paste, apply, wait 5 minutes, then shower - it helps your underarms detoxify and adjust to their glorious new freedom.

Is this product made of milk?

We aren’t called MooGoo because our products are made with milk. If you think about it, putting any meaningful amount of fresh milk into a cream and then putting it on a shelf in a store for a while would not end well – yuck! We do use ethically and sustainably sourced Milk Protein from a credible Australian supplier in a some of our skincare products because research has found that it helps to increase skin elasticity by up to 20%.

My new roller-ball is stuck and won't spin - is this normal?

Sometimes a roll-on arrives with a roller ball that’s a little stiff or won’t spin at all. This usually happens because the product has been in very cold conditions during transport. Fixing it is easy: just run the top under warm water for a few seconds. The roller will loosen and be ready to roll again.

If you live somewhere with fluctuating or very cold temperatures, you might need to repeat this occasionally - it’s normal, we promise, and your deodorant is still perfectly good to go.

Returns

MooGoo has a 100% customer satisfaction policy. If you’re not satisfied with any product(s) you purchased from our website, we’ll happily organise a refund or exchange. Requests for returns and exchanges should be made within 60 days of the original order date and the product(s) must be substantially unused.
