There is no give in the item so if you wish to leave it closed and pull it on, fitting well, you realistically need to open and close it every time. Not what I expected, I wouldn't have purchased if I had known. Expected it to be more like a headband with some stretch

We’re sorry to hear the headband wasn’t what you expected. Just to clarify, as shown in the product images, the headband is designed with Velcro, making it more like a spa headband that you wrap around your head and fasten when putting it on.
