About the products in your routine...
Oil to cleanse the skin? It sounds counter-intuitive but oils can dissolve hardened oil that can get stuck in your pores, and also help remove other impurities such as built-up dirt, sweat and makeup. The massage part helps the oil get deeper in your pores to do its work, and who doesn't love a good massage? We made it using a mixture of drawing and moisturising oils. The drawing oils help pull out and dissolve old oils, and the moisturising oils, such as Jojoba Oil, are high in antioxidants and help keep skin hydrated and soft. This means you can cleanse and moisturise your skin at the same time! How’s that for multi-tasking?
We made this serum by dissolving an oil-soluble form of Vitamin C called Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate or VCIP, through a base of hydrating antioxidant oils that mimic the skin's own sebum. This means that it’s easily absorbed into the skin, getting the goods right where you want them. Inferior water-soluble forms of Vitamin C don’t penetrate well into the skin and this form is the most expensive because it is the most stable, but worth it for the extra antioxidant activity, it provides to the skin.
In addition to wrinkles or lines, uneven skin tone – dark spots, sun spots and pigmentation can also make the skin look a little old and less vibrant. This is why skin brightening products have become popular. We wanted to make an effective natural cream without any harsh bleaching ingredients, so we sourced the 3 best, natural brightening ingredients available in their full concentrations: Alpha Arbutin, Emblica and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (Vitamin C).
